PLC Engineer 

• Configure, develop, and implement PLC software in accordance with project specifications.
• Perform I/O testing, functional testing, and system validation.
• Support PLC commissioning activities and ensure systems are ready for operation.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify, document, and resolve software defects and commissioning issues.
• Maintain and update PLC configuration files, technical documentation, and test records.
• Coordinate commissioning activities across multiple PLC systems in cooperation with the PE team.
• Prepare technical documentation and support the formal handover of completed systems.
• Track outstanding issues and ensure that open items are clearly documented, assigned, and followed up.
• Proven experience in PLC engineering, configuration, and commissioning.
• Practical knowledge of PLC software implementation, I/O testing, and functional validation.
• Experience in troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and defect resolution.
• Ability to work with technical specifications, system documentation, and commissioning plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project and engineering teams.
• Good documentation skills and a structured approach to technical handover.
• Willingness to work in an industrial commissioning environment and comply with applicable safety requirements.

The assigned PLC Engineer is expected to deliver:

• Configured and validated PLC software.
• Completed commissioning activities and functional test records.
• Documented issue lists and punch lists, including defect status.
• Updated configuration files and technical documentation.
• Complete handover documentation for the PE team.
